How Much Will It Cost ?

The cost of your project is entirely up to the amount of fencing and materials you want to use. The good news for you is we will never charge you more than we quoted up-front, even if the project requires more time and materials than we predicted. The best way to estimate the cost of your project is to give us and have us come take a look at it. Our estimates are always free and most estimates take only 15-20 minuets.

Do I have to pay for my fence project all up front, or a deposit and then the balance?

Gold Country Fence prefers to do business the old fashioned way. Most contractors charge the customer a significant deposit up front before any work has been completed. We don't believe in doing business that way. With us you don't have to pay anything until you have seen the work and are completely satisfied!

Where do you get your materials?

We believe in Nevada County, that's why we built great long standing relationships with local companies like, Kubich Lumber, Gold N' Green Equipment Rentals, Hills Flat Lumber, and many many more. We believe in the value of community and that's why we buy everything we can from Nevada County businesses. The things we can't get in town we buy direct from the manufacture so we can pass the savings on to you.

Check out other great local business websites. Remember be a local, buy locally:

What happens if the costs go over what you quoted me?

When you sign a contract with us you can rest assured knowing that the price on the contract is the price you'll pay, period. There are many cases where you may decide to make a change in the "scope" of your project, IE: Add a section of fencing or an extra gate. In these cases we make it clear and upfront exactly how these changes will effect your bill.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes! We can even help you pick out the style / size / and materials you'll need to help you maximize your budget.

What happens if you get hurt on the job while working at my house?

We are fully a licensed, insured and bonded contractor. So when you hire us you don’t take on any liability! That’s why you hired a professional in the first place right?

What methods of payment do you accept?

Due to the high fees associated with credit card processing we only accept cash or check at this time.
